ABOUT US & OUR STORY
Welcome to our About page! Our Pastors are William "Butch" Blakely, and his wife Amy Blakely.
Our church was established in 2013. However, it was not without an internal struggle.
After the death of William and Amy's Pastor, the Lord gave them signs to continue
his legacy of spreading the word of God. This brought the beginning of Say A Prayer Ministries.
At Say A Prayer Ministries, we strive to never make the service our own. We believe that the service is to be run by the Lord and that our set schedule is to be ignored if the Lord takes over. Ever need prayer? Please, do not hesitate to contact us. You can find our numbers by navigating to the "Contact" Tab.
"Our ultimate goal is to reach people for the Kingdom of God. We believe in the power of prayer and we created this page for people to not only pray for others but to be able to leave prayer requests. Our passion is to feed souls not only physically, but also spiritually"
-Pastor Amy Blakely, updated 2023.
OUR VISION
Say A Prayer Ministries is a church that believes no one should be judged by their appearance, mistakes, or any reason as all things can be made new by God. We firmly believe in the term "come as you are," and we have had several services under this title. We strongly believe the church cannot spread love by passing judgment on those who aren't at their best selves.
We often play Contemporary Christian music, and, as Pastor Amy says, "No matter the genre, if it's anointed, we're going to play it."
WHAT WE DO
Along with worship beginning at 10 AM, we conduct a Sunday School service for children 10 and younger after concluding worship. However, we have had many instances where someone may come to the Alter and request prayer, and then the Lord always seems to take over from there. We have even had times when there was no time left for a sermon after worship and prayer because of how far God took our service. As you may tell, we do things differently at our church.
